P&G Vintage Bottles Are No Gamble

by Douglass KaufmanSuzanne Labarre, in a recent article for FastCoDesign, raised some doubts about P&G’s limited edition packaging campaign for Tide, Bounce, and Downy laundry products. In the campaign, running in American Target stores this summer, retro 1950’s packaging will be used to sweep customers back to an era when life was simple, uncomplicated, and there was only one (or two) real choices to tackle your dirty laundry.

Vintage Flea Market Finds, Pt. II

There were too many great finds to not do a second post. I found this wooden beer crate to be especially intersting. The antiques dealer gave me a tip and explained that the way to spot an original from a fake is to look for "Since 1879" as opposed to 2 dates listing a time bracket such as 1879-2011. Have a look inside the post to see what an original looks like.If you go to a flea market and see something great you think should be in the vintage section on The Dieline, tweet it to me @meg_cummins.
