@ The Dieline Conference: Cultural Shifts and the Changing Face of Retail Packaging

William Harper and Jim Warner will be speaking at The Dieline Package Design Conference 2013 on Cultural Shifts and the Changing Face of Retail Packaging. Cultural Shifts and the Changing Face of Retail Packaging  Caring for the environment. Aging baby-boomers. Attention to health and nutrition. These macro-trends are dictating package design graphically, structurally, and operationally. Good package design connects to the brand and its values. Great package design, however, reflects cultural shifts in a way that is meaningful to consumers. In this session, Kaleidoscope Global Managing Design Director Jim Warner and Sr. Creative Director Bill Harper will discuss cultural implications on packaging design including sustainability, packaging structure, functionality, messaging and brand influence. The discussion will draw from real-life brands connecting culturally with consumers and underscore the importance of cultural and consumer immersion as it relates to design thinking. You’ll leave inspired to elevate your designs through the lens of a broader cultural view.   Register by June 22nd with our exclusive discount for The Dieline readers for a total of $100 off your Dieline Individual Full-Conference Registration. "Project scope: development and brand packaging redesign with the addition of 8 new SKU. BRAND BENEFIT: The production is made in Romania, thus forming the optimal route from the factory to the final product. Quality is a brand asset. BRAND MISSION & VALUES: quality, safety, freshness: the most reliable distributor of food products in retail and food service throughout Romania. Mainstay of the brand will be the proximity, on the one hand because of distribution in traditional trade (neighborhood stores), on the other hand due to a lower price: EDNA, nature at hand!"

As well as always aiming to ‘surprise and delight’, Pams delivers on quality, aesthetic appeal and affordability. When the opportunity arose to celebrate Pams’ 75th Anniversary, the idea emerged to create some very beautiful, very collectable baking tins. This stemmed from Pams‘ early beginnings in baking products."
